Tāwharanui Regional Park
At the far end of the peninsula, looking out to Kawau and Little Barrier Islands, Tāwharanui Regional Park boasts some of Auckland region's most beautiful white sand beaches, rolling pastures, shingled bays, native coastal forest and regenerating wetlands. Tāwharanui is New Zealand’s first open sanctuary integrating conservation, recreation and farming. The pest free habitat provides a safe home for threatened native wildlife.

Our property is located 5 minutes from Matakana Village & Farmers Market – an extremely popular weekend market, open Saturday mornings. The village offers boutique shopping, cafes, restaurants, galleries, movie cinemas and entertainment. At the Farmers Market you'll find an array of stallholders offering fresh, local artisan products. It has a cool vibe and a friendly atmosphere, often with live music.

Omaha dishes up a pristine beach with clear waters and uninterrupted gulf and island views. The beach is seasonally monitored by lifeguards and is popular with surfers, windsurfers, water-skiers and those who love to fish and dive.
